Here's the story of Nory Ryan,
A little girl who lived in Ireland.
By the seaside, with her family,
In 1845.
They grew potatoes for their survival,
But one year the potato crop went bad.
With no potatoes they would go hungry,
And they were very sad.
In this story Nory Ryan showed great courage
By caring for her family and friends.
They dreamed of one day sailing to America,
But we can't tell you how the story ends. |
