a dance teacher, Reuben's father could only dream of actually flying in
an airplane in 1932. As a kid who was happy with his feet on the ground,
Reuben could only quiver in fear at the thought of flying! When the Great
Depression hit this small country family in Oklahoma, serious choices had
to be made. Jobs were lost. Food was scarce. Then, a newspaper from
the Minnesota wrapped around six eggs from the store shined light on Reuben's
father dreams. Rising from the ashes of the Depression, a job as a wingwalker
promised high pay but dangerous consequences. Will Reuben be able to overcome
his own fears? Will his father be able to realize his dreams in the middle
of a national disaster?
