Flip Books
Practice creating and expanding sentences!

Add other sentence parts and fasten them onto the book rings in the same folder.
Examples:

When students flip the book pages, the sentence changes, but still remains a sentence.  Some funny sentences can result:
Start with a file folder.
Cut it into thirds.  One folder can make 3 flip books.

Cut all subjects, verbs, and adverbs in separate colors.
Use book rings to hold the cards inside.
When not in use, fold on original lines and file of course!
Variations:  By making cards smaller, you can add prepositional phrases in a new color.  New hole placement in the folder can allow the phrases to be placed in beginning, medial, or ending slots.
