The Ballad of Waterhouse Hawkins
to the tune of “Down by the Station”
(A Round)

Waterhouse Hawkins
Loved to draw those animals
When he was a young boy,
Many years ago.
He’d draw them, then paint them,
Then mold their little bodies.
Scritch, scratch! Smush! Smush,
Off he’d go!

When Waterhouse Hawkins
Heard about the dinosaurs
Over in Old England many years ago,
He looked at their fossils,
Little bits and pieces.
Scritch, scratch! Smush! Smush!
Off he’d go!
